Mixed use development, Lower Herne Village, Kent

Scheme of 731 dwellings and supporting employment uses with a greenfield site adjacent to a sensitive local road network

Overview

Our initial involvement was to assist the site through the Local Plan process, providing a key role in establishing the principle of access and internal road layout which allowed for the local highway authority’s aspiration for a relief road. This then progressed to supporting the hybrid planning application and subsequent Public Inquiry where our Director Chris Bancroft acted as an expert witness on addressing the highways and transportation issues.
