We had submitted a permitted development application for a change of use of some buildings to residential dwellings and office space.
Highways raised an objection 5 days before a decision was due. Permitted development applications can’t have time extensions so we had a short time to persuade Highways their position was unreasonable.
We had dealt with Bancroft Consulting in the past, upon explaining the position they had a traffic survey done that day, and the report demonstrating the safety of the access was sent to Highways 2 days later.
Highways subsequently did a u-turn on their position and the planning was granted.

We commissioned Bancroft Consulting to help us identify a solution to the growing traffic problems in our village and to look into the impacts of the increase in developments in the area.

We appointed Bancroft to help us with designing a new access for our house and they were instrumental in helping us achieve planning permission.
Chris and his team worked well with us and the local authority to make sure we got what we wanted and the local council were happy with the design.
We were concerned that our small job might not be given the same level of attention as some of the other bigger projects that we know Bancroft also do, but this was not the case at all.
